Coalition Meeting: Updates on Aurora

Updates on Aurora

The Aurora corridor faces many pressing issues and has many competing needs. In response, several city departments are implementing or planning projects along Aurora in the next year. We’re inviting some of these departments to provide details on their work and will also share updates on the Coalition’s advocacy around Aurora and what we can expect in 2024.

Please join us to learn about Seattle Public Utilities’ drainage system analysis for the Aurora-Licton Springs neighborhood - a great opportunity to build green stormwater infrastructure in the corridor - and to get updates on the Office of Planning and Community Development’s North Aurora planning project - our chance to advocate for a holistic vision and shape growth and investment in the neighborhoods centered on Aurora north of Green Lake. We’ll also share updates on the Seattle Department of Transportation and King County Metro’s Aurora Ave Project and what is expected to happen in the coming months.
